TDP's Paritala Sriram To Contest As Nallacheruvu ZPTC Chairman
Telugu Desam Party Dharmavaram in-charge Paritala Sriram on Friday, filed his nomination as the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constitunecy ( ZPTC) candidate from Nallacheruvu in Kadiri constituency.

The TDP high command had given him the go-ahead to contest in the local body polls in this regard, and Paritala Sriram will be in the fray as the Nallacheruvu ZP Chairman. He submitted the nomination papers at the Zilla Parishad office in Kothacheruvu and was accompanied by Kadiri MLA Sri Kandikunta Venkata Prasad and District President Sri M.S. Raju.
The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission has revised the schedule for elections to 100 urban local bodies, fixing November 1 as the revised date for polling from 7 am to 5 pm. In compliance with the Supreme Court order issued on October 21, the SEC scheduled publication of the final list of contesting candidates after 3 pm on October 25. Repolling, if required, will be held on November 2 from 7am to 5 pm, while counting will begin at 8 am on November 3. State election commissioner Anil Chandra Punetha issued the notification on Thursday, announcing the revised schedule for all 100 urban local bodies.
