The government, under the Andhra Pradesh Districts (Formation) Act, 1974, has issued final notification for the change of name as YSR Kadapa district.
The AP government has restored the Kadapa name to YSR district and issued orders accordingly on Monday. Special chief secretary to the government (FAC) G. Jayalakshmi has issued G.O.MS.No. 170 for the change of name of YSR district as YSR Kadapa district. (DC)
Vijayawada: The AP government has restored the Kadapa name to YSR district and issued orders accordingly on Monday. Special chief secretary to the government (FAC) G. Jayalakshmi has issued G.O.MS.No. 170 for the change of name of YSR district as YSR Kadapa district.
Earlier, Kadapa district name was changed to YSR district. The government took a decision after receiving numerous representations seeking restoration and continuation of Kadapa name.
