K. Kanna Babu Given Additional Charge as Endowments Secretary
According to G.O. Rt. No. 1291 issued by the general administration department on Tuesday, the arrangement has come into effect immediately.
Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh government has entrusted senior IAS officer K. Kanna Babu with the full additional charge of secretary to government, revenue (endowments) department.
According to G.O. Rt. No. 1291 issued by the general administration department on Tuesday, the arrangement has come into effect immediately.
Kanna Babu, a 2006-batch IAS officer, is currently serving as commissioner of civil supplies and ex-officio secretary to government in the consumer affairs, food and civil supplies department. He will continue to hold these responsibilities while also overseeing the revenue (endowments) department.
The government said the additional charge would remain in force until further orders. The arrangement is intended to ensure continuity in the administration of the endowments department, which oversees temples and other religious institutions under the state's jurisdiction.
