Jr NTR Fans Seek Action Over Fake Political Campaign
He alleged that some people were deliberately spreading misinformation by misusing the actor's name

TIRUPATI: Fans of actor Jr NTR have lodged a complaint with Tirupati police, alleging that false claims about the actor's political entry are being circulated on social media and through some media platforms.
The complainants sought action against those spreading posts claiming that Jr NTR would announce his political entry at a press conference in Tirupati and launch service activities with a ₹100-crore fund.
Jr NTR Fans Association state convenor Krishna Yadav said the actor's office had already clarified that he was focused on his film career and had no plans to enter politics. Despite this, he alleged that some people were deliberately spreading misinformation by misusing the actor's name.
Yadav said the organisation operating under the name 'RAW NTR' had no connection with the actor or his official fan associations. He said a complaint had been submitted to the Superintendent of Police seeking an inquiry into those behind the organisation and its motives. He alleged that the campaign was intended to tarnish the actor's image.
He also questioned why those behind the campaign had remained silent despite the controversy continuing for the past four days. The misinformation had become serious enough for the actor's team to issue an official clarification, he said, adding that the complaint was aimed at preventing similar fake campaigns in future.
