JNTUA To Host National-Level Innovators Conclave-2026
Industry-academia collaboration will be a major focus of the conclave. Companies including Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, Jio and Capgemini, besides more than 70 other leading industrial organisations, are expected to participate.
ANANTAPUR: JNTU Anantapur will host the two-day national-level Innovators Conclave-2026 on October 24 and 25, bringing together more than 80 national and international experts, over 70 industries, 400 startups and 10,000 students and young innovators.
JNTUA Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Sudarshana Rao told the media here on Wednesday that the conclave would be held under the theme “Where Innovation Meets Impact”, with the objective of creating a common platform for students, innovators, startups, industries, investors, researchers and educational institutions.
The event will feature global managing directors, senior corporate executives, industrialists, policymakers, senior government officials, researchers and academicians, who will share their experiences and discuss emerging opportunities in technology, industry and innovation.
Industry-academia collaboration will be a major focus of the conclave. Companies including Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, Jio and Capgemini, besides more than 70 other leading industrial organisations, are expected to participate. Discussions will cover MoUs, employment opportunities, industry-oriented training, internships and setting up advanced technology centres in educational institutions.
More than 400 startups from across the country will showcase innovative products, technologies and business models. Selected startups may get opportunities to access seed funding of up to Rs 1.20 crore, subject to the selection and evaluation process. The conclave will also facilitate direct interaction between startups, investors and industry experts.
A national-level hackathon will be organised covering 10 different problem areas. Participants will develop technology-based solutions with support from mentors and industry experts and get opportunities to present their ideas before potential stakeholders.
According to the Vice-Chancellor, more than 50 policymakers and senior government officials, 90 higher educational institutions and over 70 industries are expected to be associated with the event.
The conclave is also being positioned as a step towards developing Anantapur as a deep-tech, defence and aerospace hub. It will seek to connect industries, research institutions, educational institutions and startups in areas such as defence, aerospace, space technology, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.
The event is being organised by JNTUA as the principal partner with the support of the Andhra Pradesh government and the presentation support of Vidhya Nidhi. The AP State Skill Development Corporation, AP Innovation Society, IEEE India, AP Economic Development Board, Ratan Tata Innovation Hub and AP Tourism Authority are among the strategic partners.
