Jana Sena MLA and YSRC MLC Lock Horns over Comments Against Pawan Kalyan

Israel’s remarks against the Jana Sena leader came when the MLC was participating in the YSRC’s Babu Surity-Mosam (cheating) guarantee programme.

Kakinada: A war of words occurred between the P. Gannavaram Jana Sena MLA Giddi Satyanarayana and YSRC MLC Bommi Israel in the BR Ambedkar Konaseema district, over the latter’s criticism of deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan.

Israel’s remarks against the Jana Sena leader came when the MLC was participating in the YSRC’s Babu Surity-Mosam (cheating) guarantee programme. He started by saying Pawan Kalyan lacked leadership qualities. “When you float a party, the attempt should be to lead the state as chief minister. But, Kalyan has no such resolve. He keeps saying the alliance government would lead the state for another 15 years and Chandrababu Naidu would continue as the chief minister,” Israel said.

He noted that Pawan Klayan’s brother K Chiranjeevi merged his Praja Rajyam party into the Congress party. “Considering the way PK behaves now, I feel that sooner or later, he would merge the Jana Sena into the Telugu Desam or BJP,” he felt.

Irritated by Israel’s remarks, MLA Satyanarayana later phoned him during a live TV discussion and warned him against such statements. “At at present, Pawan Kalyan’s status is like that of the Prime Minister. The central government is releasing crores of funds to the state only because of the efforts of Pawan Kalyan and he is thus developing the

state,” the JS legislator claimed.

Later, the MLA's conservation with the YSRC MLC became viral on social media.

In a strong retort to Satyanarayana, the YSRC MLC claimed, “I gave gave respect to the MLA when he made a phone call as both of us are from the Dalit community. But, I would not tolerate any warning from him. I would raise my voice in people’s presence against the anti-people policies and conspiracies of some political parties.”

He added, “I stand by my comments against Pawan Kalyan. If PK gives a statement that he would become the CM one day, I would welcome that. My view is also that the alliance parties failed to fulfill their election promises. It is my right to criticise Pawan Klayan or any other leader in the ruling alliance.”
