Jana Sena Leader Suspended for Organising Rave Party

Eluru: Twenty four persons, including 22 men and two transgender persons, were arrested by the police for allegedly participating in indecent dances and causing a public nuisance during the birthday celebrations of Jana Sena leader Vakamudi Indra Kumar at Krovvidi village in Nidamarru mandal, Eluru district, on Thursday.

According to the police, the Jana Sena leader organised a birthday party, inviting young guests and engaging two transgender performers. During the celebrations, the transgender individuals were allegedly found dancing naked to music played for the entertainment of the attendees. Some guests also consumed alcohol at the party.

Although the incident occurred on December 12 at a rice mill in the village, video footage of the event surfaced and went viral on December 18. Following a complaint filed by the local Village Revenue Officer, the police registered a case and arrested 24 individuals involved. The accused will be presented before the local magistrate shortly. The police clarified that no drugs were consumed during the party, though some participants had consumed alcohol.

Meanwhile, the Jana Sena leadership suspended Vakamudi Indra Kumar, the party president of Krovvidi village, citing anti-party activities. The suspension followed allegations of his involvement in celebrations featuring indecent dances, excessive liquor consumption, and the widespread circulation of videos on social media platforms.
