Jana Sena Leader Blames Dil Raju for Cinema Hall Bandh Call

Satyanarayana said the bundh had been called deliberately at a time when release of the movie – Hari Hara Veeramallu – whose lead actor is Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, had been scheduled on June 12.

Kakinada: Jana Sena Rajamahendravaram Urban in-charge Atti (Anusri) Satyanarayana has accused cine producer and exhibitor Dil Raju and his coterie of calling the controversial cinema halls’ bandh from June 1. The bandh has since been withdrawn.

Satyanarayana said the bundh had been called deliberately at a time when release of the movie – Hari Hara Veeramallu – whose lead actor is Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, had been scheduled on June 12.

Recently, Dil Raju said the bandh issue had been brought to the fore by JS leader Anusri Satyanarayana. Following this, Jana Sena Party issued a notice to Satyanarayana, asking him to stay away from party activity until the truth behind the allegations made against him is ascertained.

In this regard, Anusri Satyanarayana told media in Rajamahendravaram on Wednesday that when exhibitors, distributors and producers had met on May 18, Dil Raju’s brother Sirish Reddy had called for a cinema halls bandh from June 1, knowing fully well that Hari Hara Veeramallu is scheduled to be released on June 12.

“When the Deputy Chief Minister came to know about this, he (Pawan Kalyan) gave a warning to Dil Raju. The film producer is playing a game by pushing the blame on me. Dil Raju has suppressed exhibitors and others using his power. Many exhibitors gave up due to his threats. But I am not afraid of Dil Raju, as I have been inspired by Pawan Kalyan, who always asks us to speak facts without fear,” Satyanarayana maintained.

Answering a query, he said Pawan Kalyan knows all the facts about the film industry and its people. He underlined that he treats Pawan Kalyan as his God.
