Jana Sena Dissolves All Its Nellore District Committees Over Indiscipline
The Deputy CM maintained that party discipline is essential for maintaining an effective organisational structure.
Nellore: Jana Sena Party has dissolved all its committees in the erstwhile Nellore district citing indiscipline, internal differences, and complaints from party supporters regarding the functioning of local leaders.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Jana Sena president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan revealed that party supporters and cadre in Nellore district had raised concerns that some leaders are acting contrary to the party's principles and policies.
In this regard, he felt that growing differences among leaders and lack of discipline are creating difficulties for grassroots workers of the JSP.
As a result, the party president has dissolved district, city, mandal, and village-level committees in the erstwhile Nellore district with immediate effect. Those handling district coordination responsibilities, along with other committee members, have been relieved of their duties.
The Deputy CM maintained that party discipline is essential for maintaining an effective organisational structure. He asserted that the decision to scrap all committees has been taken in the interest of strengthening the party.
Party leaders pointed out that a similar decision had recently been taken in the erstwhile Prakasam district.
According to the statement, until the new committees are constituted, the affairs of the Jana Sena Party in the erstwhile Nellore district will be monitored directly from the party's central office.
