Jana Sena Complains against YSRCP ZPTC Candidate over Voter Registration
Jana Sena ZPTC candidate Kotla Revathi sought action against Chaitanya, alleging that she has voting rights in Ward 41 of the Vizianagaram Municipal Corporation

Visakhapatnam: The Jana Sena Party has lodged a complaint with the election officer against Botsa Chaitanya, the YSRCP’s ZPTC candidate from Pusapatirega mandal.
Jana Sena ZPTC candidate Kotla Revathi sought action against Chaitanya, alleging that she has voting rights in Ward 41 of the Vizianagaram Municipal Corporation. Revathi informed the election officer that Chaitanya holds a voter ID card bearing number UJK1667229, which shows that he is registered as a voter within the limits of the Vizianagaram Municipal Corporation.
The Jana Sena candidate questioned how a person who had voting rights in Ward 41 as recently as October 22 could file a nomination to contest the ZPTC election from Pusapatirega mandal.
She urged the election officer to investigate the matter, pointing out that Chaitanya’s voter registration within the municipal corporation limits raised questions about her eligibility to contest the ZPTC election from Pusapatirega mandal.
Revathi requested the election officer to conduct an inquiry into her complaint and take appropriate action against Chaitanya in accordance with the election rules.
