Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena leaders celebrated the central government’s financial package for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant with a ceremony honouring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
Jana Sena MLA Vamsi Krishna Srinivas credited Pawan Kalyan’s persistent efforts for securing the package. Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu called the decision timely, outlining plans for acquiring captive mines to make the plant India’s premier steel facility.
Anakapalli MLA Konathala Ramakrishna praised workers' dedication and the central government’s commitment to the plant’s future. The event included tributes to NTR on his death anniversary and concluded with fireworks. Party leaders reiterated their focus on long-term sustainability for the steel plant.
