Jagan’s Lies, APPSC Scams Exposed: Parthasarathy

He also alleged that the YSRC had sold posts to its loyalists under the guise of welfare

VIJAYAWADA: Minister for housing and information and public relations Kolusu Parthasarathy on Saturday accused YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of spreading lies and creating chaos, and alleged that his campaign against the Mega DSC recruitment was aimed at diverting attention from alleged APPSC irregularities during the previous government.

Parthasarathy recalled that the High Court had reprimanded the previous government over APPSC irregularities and ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe. He said the probe found that Group-1 examination papers had been shifted from strong rooms to a private AgriGold resort, while digital evaluation was assigned to plumbers, carpenters, daily-wage workers and relatives of candidates without approval or standard operating procedures.

He said the SIT and CFSL forensic reports found irregularities in 95 per cent of answer sheets of 165 selected candidates, with 89 lacking evaluator details and having mismatched signatures.

Parthasarathy alleged that the use of whitener, duplicate OMR sheets and other manipulation deprived deserving candidates of jobs. He also alleged that the YSRC had sold posts to its loyalists under the guise of welfare.

In contrast, he said, the coalition government issued the Mega DSC notification for 16,347 posts as its first act. He said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was working to attract investments, create lakhs of private-sector jobs and implement an annual transparent job calendar.
