Jagan Slams TD, Vows YSRC’s Return
Jagan reassured his supporters he would connect with people in politics for another 25 to 30 years

Vijayawada: Highlighting his administration's Rs 2.71 lakh crore direct benefit transfers and fulfilment of promises despite COVID-19 challenges, former chief minister and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy criticised N. Chandrababu Naidu’s coalition government for neglecting key sectors, failing to fulfil poll promises, and cancelling YSRC welfare schemes.
During a meeting with public representatives from the united Guntur district, Jagan accused Naidu of betraying public trust by discarding the manifesto and neglecting vital sectors like education, healthcare, agriculture, and industries. He noted that YSRC secured 40 per cent of the vote share in the last elections, with just a 10 per cent reduction, attributing the loss to his refusal to make false promises like Chandrababu.
Jagan reassured his supporters that he remains deeply connected to the people and will continue in politics for another 25 to 30 years. He questioned the future of the current government, asking what would happen when people realised they had been deceived. He claimed that TD leaders are now afraid to enter villages due to their failure to keep promises. Mocking Naidu’s slogans, he remarked that rather than being a “guarantee for the future,” Naidu has become a “guarantee for fraud.”
Jagan alleged that corruption is rampant, bribes are necessary for any work, gambling clubs are operating openly, and those questioning the government are being arrested under harsh laws. He warned that such injustices would not last and that the people would soon teach a strong lesson.
He vowed that YSRC would return to power with "Jagananna 2.0" governance, ensuring that no wrongdoers would be spared and legal action would be taken against corrupt individuals. Acknowledging that COVID-19 had restricted his ability to fully support party workers during his tenure, he pledged to stand by every worker in the future.
Jagan urged his party workers to remain determined and confident, assuring them that YSRC is fully prepared to return to power and serve the people once again.
