He alleged that the violations included the capture of nominations, filing of fake nominations in the YSRC's name, selective scrutiny, forced withdrawals, forged signatures and withdrawals through impersonation.

Vijayawada:YSRC president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that democracy in Andhra Pradesh under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is passing through a deeply disturbing phase.
In a post on X on Saturday, he said, “One should not forget that all these violations are at the nomination stage itself, then one can imagine what might be unclear by the time polls are concluded and results are declared.”
Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that Naidu had shown how the election process could be subverted even before polling began. He said preventing Opposition candidates from entering the contest would set a dangerous precedent and warned that if such practices spread across the country, the foundations of democracy would be at risk.
