Jagan Condoles Deaths in River, Road Mishaps

VIJAYAWADA: Former chief minister and YSRC president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday expressed deep grief over two separate tragic incidents in Andhra Pradesh that claimed eight lives. Jagan said he was shocked and saddened by the drowning of five persons in the Tungabhadra River near Mantralayam in Kurnool district. Describing the incident as heartbreaking, he conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and said the tragedy had plunged the affected households into deep sorrow.
The YSRC chief also expressed profound grief over a fatal road accident in the Srinagar area of Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam district. An APSRTC bus travelling from Rajamahendravaram towards Ramabhadrapuram reportedly collided with a stationary lorry, resulting in the deaths of two women and the bus driver.
Calling the accident extremely tragic, Jagan extended his sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased and said the loss of lives was deeply distressing. He also wished a speedy recovery to the seven persons injured in the accident and urged the government to ensure that they receive the best possible medical treatment without delay.
Jagan further prayed for peace to the souls of all those who lost their lives in the two incidents and expressed solidarity with the grieving families during their time of loss.
