Indonesian Consul Holds Trade Talks With FAPCCI
The discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration between FAPCCI and Indonesian stakeholders in sectors, such as marine products, agro-commodities, pharmaceuticals, tourism, education and MSMEs.

Visakhapatnam:Republic of Indonesia Consul General Widya Parsaoran Gultom held talks on Friday with representatives of the Visakhapatnam chapter of Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) on strengthening trade, tourism and investment linkages between Indonesia and AP.
Gultom explained Indonesia’s growing economic landscape and explained opportunities for Indian businesses, especially from Andhra Pradesh, in Indonesian markets. He invited FAPCCI members and industrialists present to participate in the Tradexpo Indonesia 2025, scheduled from October 15 in Jakarta.
The discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration between FAPCCI and Indonesian stakeholders in sectors, such as marine products, agro-commodities, pharmaceuticals, tourism, education and MSMEs.
FAPCCI briefed the Consul about its events for 2025–26, including export conclaves, sectoral seminars and international outreach activities. The discussed organising of a joint India–Indonesia business networking event in Visakhapatnam or Jakarta.
Direct airline facility, contacting other similar organisations for technology exchange and better rate negotiation with western nations had been among the various points discussed during the meeting.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with an assurance of continued cooperation between the Indonesian Consulate and FAPCCI.
FAPCCI president Kankatala Mallikharjuna Rao assured full support to the Consul. He expressed interest in establishing a dedicated Indo-Indonesia trade desk at FAPCCI.
