Independent Thinking, Concentration Vital For Judicial Aspirants: Justice Krupasagar

Describing natural justice as the foundation of law, he said the judicial system functioned through coordination and harmony, like rivers and canals merging into the sea.

Vijayawada:Former High Court judge Justice Dr V.R.K. Krupasagar has said concentration, discipline, memory and independent thinking are essential for candidates aspiring to join the judicial services.

Addressing a seminar on ‘How to Enter into the Judicial Service’, jointly organised by the S.V.D. Siddhartha School of Law and the AP Law Academy in Vijayawada, he advised candidates preparing for the Junior Civil Judge recruitment examinations to follow a disciplined study routine.

Describing natural justice as the foundation of law, he said the judicial system functioned through coordination and harmony, like rivers and canals merging into the sea.

Expressing concern over students’ growing dependence on mobile phones, he said earlier generations had better independent thinking and memory. As mobile phones were not permitted in examination halls, aspirants should strengthen their memory, reasoning and subject knowledge to succeed in examinations and life, he said.

AP Law Academy chairman A.K. Basha said the academy had established 13 centres across the state to promote the welfare of junior advocates, improve their professional skills and support their career advancement. He thanked the 13 district bar associations for entrusting him with the responsibility.

Siddhartha Law College dean Ch. Divakar Babu recalled that Justice Krupasagar had served as a faculty member before rising from Junior Civil Judge to High Court judge through integrity and dedication.

All India Bar Council member K. Chidambaram spoke about the academy’s objectives and services. Andhra Pradesh Bar Council member Chalasani Ajay Kumar and academy secretary Koneru Seetharamaiah also addressed the gathering.

Justice Krupasagar later interacted with students, answered their questions and expressed happiness at returning to his former institution.
