Implement Projects Fast as Per Schedule, Says AP Health Minister

Vijayawada:Health minister and NTR district in-charge Satya Kumar Yadav on Thursday directed officials to accelerate the implementation of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's assurances and complete the projects within the stipulated time-frame.
Chairing a constituency-wise review meeting here, the minister said there should be no delay in executing the CM’s promises and stressed the need for close coordination among departments to expedite all pending works.
The review covered the implementation of assurances made by the CM across the district's seven assembly constituencies and the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency. Yadav said the government had undertaken a comprehensive assessment by focusing on three financial and three non-financial commitments in each constituency, with special emphasis on their progress and timely execution.
Officials, he said, must prepare and submit proposals to the government without delay for development projects that would directly benefit the public, while ensuring that all technical and administrative approvals are obtained expeditiously.
Among the key projects reviewed were the Kattaleru flyover bridge, the Tribal Skill Development Centre and the Tribal Community Hall in Tiruvuru constituency; the DPR for the development of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple, construction of a 150-bed government general hospital in Vijayawada West, upgradation of GJC College into a degree college, establishment of a wholesale fish market as also a drug rehabilitation centre in Vijayawada Central.
The minister also reviewed the construction of a retaining wall in Ramakrishna Nagar, new Anganwadi centres and community halls in Vijayawada East; the plan for the Mutyalampadu bridge and Jakkampudi land pooling project in Mylavaram; plan for the three bridges near Gottumukkala and the proposed Lakshmayya Vagu bridge in Nandigama; and repairs to the Polampalli project besides upgrading the Jaggayyapeta community health centre into a 100-bed hospital.
Infrastructure works, including retaining walls, parks, bridges, underpasses and flyovers in the Vijayawada parliamentary constituency also came up for review. Satya Kumar Yadav reiterated that implementation of the CM’s assurances remained the government's top priority and urged officials to complete every project within the prescribed deadline in line with public expectations.
NTR district collector Lakshmisha, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath, MLAs Gadde Rammohan, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Sriram Rajagopal (Tatayya), Tangirala Soumya, Vasantha Krishna Prasad, Yarlagadda Venkata Rao and senior officials attended the meeting.
