Amaravati: The IMD on Friday forecast heavy rain in parts of Andhra Pradesh for three days from October 16 to 18.The department forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema.
"Heavy rain likely at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema," the India Meteorological Department said. It also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places in these regions, along with strong winds reaching speeds of up to 60 kmph.
