Illegal Fuel Transport Busted In Kurnool

KURNOOL: In a crackdown on unauthorised transportation of fuel, revenue officials conducted surprise inspections in Orvakal mandal of Kurnool district on Sunday and seized petrol and diesel being supplied illegally.
Acting on specific information about illicit fuel distribution in Nannuru village, the Orvakal tahsildar carried out checks and found a person identified as Ranganna storing and supplying fuel in violation of norms.

In a separate case, another individual was caught transporting petrol illegally in an auto-rickshaw. The vehicle was found carrying five cans, each containing 20 litres of petrol, which was confiscated on the spot.
Officials said legal action would be initiated against those involved in the illegal transport and supply of fuel.
