Illegal Case on Pratap Kumar Reddy Is Injustice, Says Kakani
YSRC leaders accuse ruling alliance of scams, illegal mining, and misuse of police

Nellore: Former minister and YSRC district president Dr Kakani Govardhan Reddy said a false case was filed against former MLA Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy, terming it “blatant injustice.”
Govardhan Reddy submitted a petition to the district collector against alleged irregularities in the Kavali constituency at a grievances programme held at Tikkana Hall in the Nellore collectorate.
The YSRC leader attended the event along with MLC Parvata Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, former MLA Kiliveti Sanjeevayya, party leaders and workers.
Speaking to the media, Govardhan Reddy alleged that the TD leaders were indulging in corruption and irregularities after the coalition government came to power.
“YSRC leaders were being targeted with false cases, including SC/ST atrocity charges. In Annvaram village, attempts to examine illegal quarrying with a drone led to a fabricated murder attempt case against Pratap Kumar Reddy. Kavali constituency also witnessed a Rs 900 crore money scam, yet victims have not received justice,” Govardhan Reddy said.
He warned that the YSRC would intensify its agitation with a “Chalo Annavaram” programme if the administration fails to act on the allegations.
Chandrasekhar Reddy, Sanjeevayya and Nellore Rural in-charge Anam Vijay Kumar Reddy also accused the ruling alliance of misusing police, shielding corruption and intimidating the Opposition leaders.
They demanded investigations into the alleged money scam and illegal mining, while assuring full support to party cadres facing “false cases.”
