HRAAP Honoured with Certificate of Merit

Visakhapatnam: The Hotels and Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh (HRAAP) was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Andhra Pradesh government during the 77th Republic Day celebrations, in recognition of its contribution to the hospitality sector and culinary culture.
District collector M. N. Harendhira Prasad, IAS, presented the award, which was received by HRAAP president M. V. Pavan Kartheek. GVMC commissioner Ketan Garg and Police Commissioner Shankabrata Bagchi were among the officials present.
The honour recognised HRAAP’s role in organising major events such as the Visakha Food Festival 2025 and the Flavours of Andhra-Star Chef Challenge 2025, which highlighted the state’s rich gastronomic heritage.
