High Court Advocate Attacked At Dharmavaram Hospital

ANANTAPUR: A High Court advocate and TD sympathiser was allegedly attacked by close aides of Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav at the government hospital premises in Dharmavaram town of Sri Sathya Sai district on Tuesday.
The victim, K. Anjan Reddy, a native of Dharmavaram, alleged that the attack was carried out by the minister’s personal assistant Harish, another aide Praveen Yadav and several others.
According to Anjan Reddy, he had recently criticised the minister on social media, alleging that Satya Kumar Yadav was not residing in Dharmavaram and and failed to address public grievances.
He alleged that the attack took place when he visited the government hospital to meet a relative who had attended a camp for issuance of physically challenged certificates.
Anjan Reddy claimed the accused confronted him over his social media posts against the minister and assaulted him inside the hospital premises.
Local people reportedly intervened, rescued him from further assault and shifted him to hospital for treatment.
The advocate demanded action against those responsible for the attack.
