Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep grief over the sudden death of senior journalist Payal Mehta.
In a message shared on X, Naidu recalled his association with Payal Mehta and praised her dedication to journalism. He said she never hesitated to go the extra mile for a story.
Naidu said Payal Mehta had visited Andhra Pradesh several times to report from the ground. He also recalled that whenever they met in Parliament, she would approach him and share updates.
“What I will remember most is her enthusiasm, her commitment to journalism, and the warm smile with which she approached everyone,” Naidu said.
