Heavy Inflows into Srisailam Reservoir
The Srisailam reservoir is receiving 30,011 cusecs from the Jurala project, 81,600 cusecs through the spillway, and 74,423 cusecs from the Sunkesula reservoir.

Kurnool: Due to heavy inflows from the Sunkesula reservoir and upper catchment areas, the Srisailam dam is receiving an inflow of 1,85,034 cusecs as of 9 pm on Sunday, prompting the lifting of one radial crest gate. Officials are simultaneously releasing 1,27,976 cusecs downstream.
The reservoir is receiving 30,011 cusecs from the Jurala project, 81,600 cusecs through the spillway, and 74,423 cusecs from the Sunkesula reservoir. Outflows include 31,000 cusecs through the Pothireddypadu head regulator, 2,401 cusecs into the HNSS canal system, 66,231 cusecs through the right and left bank powerhouses, and 26,744 cusecs via the spillway. At present, the reservoir holds 199 TMC feet of water against its full storage capacity of 215 TMC feet.
