HC Transfers 36 Civil Judges, Promotes Four

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has transferred 36 civil judges (senior division) and promoted four civil judges (senior division) working on a temporary basis, with fresh postings in courts across the state.

The High Court issued a notification on Wednesday directing all officers concerned to get themselves relieved from their present posts and join their new assignments on or before May 11 without fail.

It further stated that if the officers from whom charge is to be taken, or to whom charge is to be handed over, are on leave or absent for any reason, the concerned principal district and sessions judge shall make alternative arrangements and intimate the same to the High Court.
