HC Adjourns Group-1 Answer Script Evaluation Case to Sept 1
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) informed a division bench comprising Justice D. Ramesh and Justice A. Giridhar that it had completed the investigation and submitted its final report.

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday adjourned to September 1 the hearing on a case relating to alleged irregularities in the evaluation of answer scripts of the Group-1 main examinations.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) informed a division bench comprising Justice D. Ramesh and Justice A. Giridhar that it had completed the investigation and submitted its final report.
Public prosecutor M. Lakshminarayana, appearing for the SIT, said a second opinion had been sought on the forensic audit of the answer scripts of nine candidates. Details of two candidates had been submitted, while those of the remaining seven were awaited. He sought an adjournment of two weeks.
The court observed that photostat copies of the inquiry reports could be provided to candidates if they filed affidavits seeking them and directed the registry to take necessary action.
After hearing both sides, the court adjourned the matter to September 1.
