Guntur Police Crack Kidnap-Murder Case, Errest Five
Police said Sandhya Rani’s younger brother, Pagadala Rajesh, developed a grudge against Naga Mahesh for allegedly ignoring his sister and their children. Rajesh allegedly conspired to kill him so that his property would go to his sister and children.

VIJAYAWADA: Guntur police arrested five men on Wednesday in connection with the kidnap and murder of Chukka Koti Veera Nagaiah alias Naga Mahesh, 53.
According to police, Naga Mahesh, a businessman, was married to Sandhya Rani and had children. He later entered into a live-in relationship with another woman, Attaluri Deepthi, and was staying with her in Tenali.
Police said Sandhya Rani’s younger brother, Pagadala Rajesh, developed a grudge against Naga Mahesh for allegedly ignoring his sister and their children. Rajesh allegedly conspired to kill him so that his property would go to his sister and children.
According to police, Rajesh approached Komarabathini Sandeep of Oleru village in Bhattiprolu mandal of Bapatla district and offered him Rs 4 lakh to kill Naga Mahesh.
Sandeep, along with Bussa Sanjay, Koppula Aparna alias Bujj and Devarakonda Maruthi Vara Prasad, allegedly conducted a recce of Naga Mahesh’s movements. On August 29, they allegedly abducted him in a car, killed him and stole his valuables before burying his body near a sand quarry at Oleru, police said.
Based on a complaint lodged by Deepthi, police registered a case and arrested all five accused. They seized the hired car and a 32-gram gold chain and ring belonging to the deceased.
