Guntur Holds Tiranga Rally Honouring Armed Forces’ Success

Chandrasekhar emphasised on the precision of military strikes, without causing harm to civilians.

VIJAYAWADA: In a remarkable display of unity and patriotism, Guntur organised a massive Tiranga Yatra to honour the Indian armed forces for their successful operations targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor.

The procession, drawing participants from various political parties, including BJP, Telugu Desam and Jana Sena, apart from schools and colleges, started from the Market Centre near Hindu College and concluded at the Ambedkar statue at the Lodge Centre,

Participants carried a 75-metre-long National Flag, shouting slogans in support of the military's efforts. Former military personnel, led by Thota Srinivas, showed solidarity by participating in the procession.

Speaking on the occasion, union minister of state Pemmasani Chandrasekhar said the terrorist plot in Pahalgam had been aimed at disrupting the unity and progress of our nation. “But it has been met with strong action from our military under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he underlined.

Chandrasekhar emphasised on the precision of military strikes, without causing harm to civilians. He appreciated the widespread support for the government’s actions among the Indian populace, highlighting that unity in times of crisis is paramount.

BJP district president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao and BJP state official spokesperson Valluru Jayaprakash Narayan affirmed that the success of Operation Sindoor marks a significant achievement of the Indian Army and the NDA government.

Among those who addressed the gathering included BJP national council member Jupudi Rangaraju.
