Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the state Public Service Commission to file an affidavit with details on whether the decision for manual evaluation of answer scripts of Group-1 mains exams (2018) were placed before the board of experts and if so, what was its decision.

A two-judge bench comprising Justice D Ramesh and Justice Hari Haranadha Sarma heard a batch of petitions here on Wednesday. The court also asked whether any proceedings were issued revoking the evaluation of answer scripts done in a resort at Hailand; and if so, the court sought details on it.
The court completed the hearing of arguments of the advocates representing the candidates who failed to get the employment and adjourned the case for next hearing on October 6 to hear the arguments from the candidates who secured employment through Group-1 exams.
