Grandeur Marks Brahmotsavams at Ahobilam Temple

Ahobilam temple glows with grandeur during brahmotsavams

Kurnool: The Vaishakha Masa Narasimha Jayanti Brahmotsavams are being celebrated with grandeur at Ahobilam, the renowned Vaishnava temple situated in Allagadda mandal of Nandyal district.

On Sunday, at Eguva Ahobilam, Jwala Narasimha Swamy, adorned in the form of Yoga Narasimha, was taken out in a ceremonial procession on the Garuda Vahanam, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi. Earlier in the day, the deity was anointed with panchamrutham as part of the day’s rituals.
Later in the night, the deity is scheduled to bless devotees in the Hanumantha Vahanam procession. Meanwhile, in Diguva Ahobilam, Prahlada Varada Swamy and Sridevi-Bhudevi Amma Varu were anointed with panchamritam.
The festivities are being conducted under the supervision of the temple’s chief priest, Kidambi Venugopalan.
