Govt Will Establish MSME Parks in Every Constituency: Minister Srinivas

Minister Srinivas unveils wide-reaching plan to boost local industry and support rural livelihoods

Visakhapatnam: State minister of MSME (Micro, small & Medium Enterprises), SERP (Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) and NRI empowerment and relations, Kondapalli Srinivas, announced an ambitious plan to establish MSME parks in all 175 constituencies across Andhra Pradesh.

During his visit to the Vizianagaram district, the minister said the first MSME park would be opened in Nellore on May 1, with 50 additional parks set for virtual inauguration from the same location.

The minister highlighted the government’s efforts to support widows, reporting that 30,000 pensions have been granted since the NDA coalition government assumed office. An additional 90,000 pending applications will be processed by next month, adding Rs 35 crore to the state’s financial commitments. Eligible individuals are encouraged to submit necessary documents, including death certificates and Aadhaar cards, by April 30.

Addressing concerns of Andhra people in Pakistan, the minister assured that the NRI department is prepared to assist those wishing to return home. He emphasised that returning individuals would receive support tailored to their skills, ensuring a smooth reintegration process.
