Addressing the media here, he urged the film fraternity to acknowledge the continuous support extended by the government, especially during challenging times.
He said Chief Minister N. Justice will be done to every segment of the industry,” he assured.
Dismissing allegations of political vendetta, the minister clarified that the government’s intention is not to indulge in politics or target anyone. “Whether we meet celebrities or not, our focus is purely on policy and support,” he stated.
Referring to the ongoing controversy over theatre closures from June 1, Durgesh said an inquiry led by the Principal Secretary of the Home Department is underway. The findings will be made public.
