Governor, CM Pat Dhiraj on Archery World Cup Gold Medals

Dhiraj secured gold in the individual recurve event and was also part of the Indian team that won gold in the recurve mixed team event.

Vijayawada:Governor Justice S. Abdul Nazeer and chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday congratulated Telugu archer Bommadevara Dhiraj who won two gold medals at the Archery World Cup Stage-3 tournament in Antalya, Turkey.

Dhiraj secured gold in the individual recurve event and was also part of the Indian team that won gold in the recurve mixed team event.

Congratulating the archer, Governor Nazeer said the achievement was a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh and the country. He also extended his warm wishes to Dhiraj and his teammates for their continued success in future competitions.

Naidu said, “Heartfelt congratulations to Telugu athlete Bommadevara Dhiraj who won two gold medals at the Archery World Cup Stage-3 tournament. Best wishes to Dhiraj and Kukum Monod and Team India. I wholeheartedly wish for them to achieve many more victories.”

Education minister Nara Lokesh wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to Dhiraj Bommadevara. A proud moment for India. My best wishes to Dhiraj, Kumkum Mohod and Team India. May this be the beginning of many more podium finishes and greater glory for our nation.”
