AP: Age Limit For Non-Uniform Government Jobs Increased To 44

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has issued two orders increasing the upper age limit for recruitment to public services to 44 years.

The relaxation will apply to posts in all non-uniformed services for upcoming recruitments conducted through the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and other recruiting agencies.

For other government job recruitments, the maximum age limit has been increased from 34 to 44 years. The government has also decided to raise the existing upper age limit for non-uniformed services from 42 to 44 years.

However, the relaxation does not apply to uniformed posts in the Police, Excise, Fire, Prisons, Forest and Transport departments.
