Goa CM Calls Upon Youth to Play Key Role in Nation Building

VIJAYAWADA: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has called upon the youth to play a key role in nation building under Viksit Bharat-2047 and urged those interested in politics to join public life with a commitment to resolving people’s problems.

Addressing youth from different sections of society at the ‘Viksit Bharat-Young Political Leaders Dialogue’ organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha here on Saturday, Sawant said those intending to enter politics should have education and experience in employment or business. He urged them to become youth leaders, policymakers, grassroots organisers, tech-savvy professionals and social entrepreneurs.

He asked them to follow five principles remain accessible to people, maintain accountability, work with everyone, adopt innovative ideas and keep the nation first. He also called for political leadership to be assessed on the changes leaders bring at the grassroots level rather than their speeches from the dais.

Andhra Pradesh BJP president P.V.N. Madhav has called upon the youth to take responsibility for making India an advanced country by 2047 and become partners in the country’s development with the spirit of ‘Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Viswas-Sabka Prayas’.

He said economic integration, basic amenities, self-reliance and social equity would play a key role in realising Viksit Bharat. He spoke about India’s transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, referring to the expansion of digital financial services, roads, railway lines, ports and airports and the growth of indigenous production.

Madhav also urged the youth to take pride in India’s culture and history, languages, arts, science and technology and remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters while contributing to nation building.

MLAs Kamineni Srinivas and Sujana Choudhary, MP Raghunandan Rao, BJP Yuva Morcha state president Sunil Reddy and others attended the programme.
