Ghat Road Repairs at Indrakeeladri From May 26

Vijayawada: The ghat road leading to the Indrakeeladri shrine will undergo major repair works from May 26 under the supervision of the Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department, temple Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik said on Monday.

According to the schedule issued by the R&B department, repair and maintenance works on the temple ghat road will be carried out in phases from May 26 to June 12. The ghat road will remain closed during the repair period.

The executive officer said the works are being taken up to improve facilities and ensure safer travel conditions for devotees visiting the temple. He said the closure is necessary to facilitate comprehensive repair work on the hill road.

In view of the temporary closure, temple authorities are making alternative arrangements for the movement of devotees through the Sri Kanaka Durga Nagar route to ensure continued access to the shrine.

Devotees have been requested to cooperate with the authorities and use the alternative routes arranged by the devasthanam administration during the repair period.
