Gandhinagar Park to Get Infrastructure Upgrade
Satyanarayana directed the officials concerned to undertake immediate repairs to ensure that all facilities are available for public use.

Kakinada:Kakinada Municipal Commissioner N.V.V. Satyanarayana on Tuesday said steps would be taken to improve facilities and create a better environment for visitors at Gandhinagar Park in the city.
The commissioner inspected the park along with municipal officials and reviewed maintenance and cleanliness arrangements. During the visit, officials informed him that some gym equipment installed in the park was not functioning.
Satyanarayana directed the officials concerned to undertake immediate repairs to ensure that all facilities are available for public use.
The commissioner also noted that some visitors were bringing biscuits and other food items to feed stray dogs inside the park. He observed that such practices could increase the stray dog population in the premises and cause inconvenience to walkers and other visitors.
He instructed staff to deploy the dog squad to capture stray dogs roaming in the area and shift them to the animal birth control centre.
Municipal health officer Dr Pridhwi Charan, deputy engineer Lakshminarayana, assistant Engineer Arjun and other officials were present during the inspection.
