Gade Vijayalakshmi’s Plea On Son’s Custodial Death Case Takes New Turn

The petitioner’s counsel Gudivaka Vasudevudu submitted to the court that his client’s interlocutory application seeking CBI probe was withdrawn without her knowledge based on a plea filed by Koganti Rithwika.

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the counsel for custodial death victim Gade Sai Krishna’s mother Vijayalakshmi, Gudivaka Vasudevudu, to serve a notice on advocate Koganti Rithiwika for filing a petition without approval from Vijayalakshmi that she was withdrawing her plea seeing CBI probe into her son’s death.

A two-judge bench of Justice Ravinath Tilhari and Justice Ch Purushottam Kumar heard her petition here on Wednesday.

The petitioner’s counsel Gudivaka Vasudevudu submitted to the court that his client’s interlocutory application seeking CBI probe was withdrawn without her knowledge based on a plea filed by Koganti Rithwika. He submitted that the petitioner had given Vakalat to him to argue on behalf of her in the court and Koganti Rithwika did not issue NOC and records of the case so far.
The court viewed it seriously and adjourned the matter for the next hearing on Thursday.
