Free Laddu At Scanning Point In Indrakeeladri For ₹500 Ticket Holders
Devotees who purchase the ₹500 Antaralaya Darshan ticket will now receive their free laddu prasadam at the ticket scanning point itself: Reports

VIJAYAWADA: With a view to enhancing devotee convenience and ensuring transparency, the Indrakeeladri Kanaka Durga Temple management has announced a new system for prasadam distribution.
Devotees who purchase the ₹500 Antaralaya Darshan ticket will now receive their free laddu prasadam at the ticket scanning point itself.
The new arrangement is intended to streamline the darshan process while eliminating delays and ensuring that every eligible devotee receives prasadam without fail, temple executive officer, Seena Naik said.
He said that by linking the laddu distribution directly with ticket scanning, “misuse of tickets can be checked and accuracy ensured to the accounting of temple revenues.” Scanned tickets would automatically ensure the devotees get the prescribed number of laddus, making the process both foolproof and accountable.
Until now, pilgrims had to wait at separate counters after darshan to collect the prasadam, often adding to the congestion and waiting time. With laddu distribution taking place at the entry scanning point, devotees can save valuable time.
The new system ensures that no devotee misses out on their entitled prasadam. There would be strict monitoring to maintain accuracy.
Devotees have welcomed the initiative. Officials noted that this new step would help regulate crowd movement while enhancing the overall spiritual ambience of the hill shrine.
