Focus, Confidence Key to Class X Success: NTR Collector
He was accompanied by District Education Officer L. Chandra Kala, headmistress M. Sandhya Rani, and teaching and non-teaching staff.

Vijayawada: With the Class X public examinations scheduled to begin on March 16, NTR district Collector Dr G. Lakshmisha on Saturday urged students to overcome lethargy and prepare with courage and confidence to achieve strong results.
The Collector made the remarks during a surprise inspection of the Zilla Parishad High School at Guntupalli in Ibrahimpatnam mandal, where he reviewed academic preparedness ahead of the examinations. He was accompanied by District Education Officer L. Chandra Kala, headmistress M. Sandhya Rani, and teaching and non-teaching staff.
Interacting with Class X students, Lakshmisha assessed their understanding by posing questions in Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Expressing satisfaction with their responses, he advised students to adopt a holistic approach to learning and understand subjects thoroughly rather than studying only for examinations.
He cited examples of former government school students who had achieved success through sustained curiosity and dedication, encouraging present students to draw inspiration from them. He said interest in learning, even in difficult subjects, would help students perform well.
Addressing teachers, the collector stressed the need for focused efforts to ensure improved SSC results. He said teachers must work with a sense of responsibility to ensure that every student passes, noting that the Class X examination plays a crucial role in shaping a student’s academic future.
He directed teachers to guide students on examination hall procedures and answer-writing techniques and advised against availing leave during the critical pre-examination period. While emphasising the importance of Class X results, he also asked teachers to pay attention to students of other classes.
The collector set a target of 100 per cent results and called upon the teaching staff to work towards making NTR district a leading performer in the state in the forthcoming Class X examinations.
