Flood Inflow Continues into Srisailam Reservoir
48,444 cusecs released downstream; power generation halted at right powerhouse

KURNOOL: Floodwater continued to flow into the Srisailam reservoir, with 45,192 cusecs entering from the Jurala project on Saturday. Authorities were releasing 48,444 cusecs downstream.
The full reservoir level (FRL) is 885 feet, while the water level stood at 875.70 feet. Against the gross storage capacity of 215.807 TMC, the reservoir had 166.7052 TMC of water.
The water level and storage were marginally lower than at the same time on Friday, when the water level was 875.80 feet and storage was 167.4860 TMC.
