Polavaram: In a tragic incident, five tribal women who went missing in the Godavari river near Gollagudem in Etapaka mandal of Polavaram district have been found dead, officials said on Saturday.
The incident occurred while the women were fishing in the river.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and launched search operations, during which the bodies were recovered.
The deceased have been identified as residents of Gommukothagudem village.
