Five Of Family Killed In Ghat Road Accident
The car was crushed by the lorry and was trapped under it. Locals, police and rescue teams removed the bodies.

ANANTAPUR: Five persons of a family, including a child and three women, were killed when a speeding lorry rammed their car on the Guvvalacheruvu Ghat Road in Kadapa's Chinthakommadinne mandal on Saturday.
The deceased were from Chintaputtaya village in Bavel mandal. The family went to attend a jatara in Bengaluru. The accident occurred on the way back home when the car reached the second curve of Guvvalachervu Ghat Road.
The car was crushed by the lorry and was trapped under it. Locals, police and rescue teams removed the bodies. The bodies were struck in the car as the entire body was suppressed under the lorry.
Rescue teams removed the lorry using cranes. Traffic was disrupted for a few hours. Traffic resumed after all the debris was removed.
The bodies were shifted to RIMS hospital, Kadapa. Police blamed the speeding lorry for the accident.
Deputy Chief Minister Nara Lokesh expressed shock over the mishap. Roads and buildings minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy said all the 'black spots' and dangerous curves on the Guvvalacheruvu Ghat Road have to be identified.
