Visakhapatnam: Madrebu village, nestled in the hilltop PVTG area of Pedakota panchayat in Alluri Sitarama Raju district, has been suffering from severe fever. The villagers claim that ten people have been suffering from a persistent fever that has not subsided despite treatment provided by ASHA workers. The lack of road connectivity has compounded the crisis, leaving villagers with no choice but to carry patients on a doli for a gruelling 10-kilometre journey. They are pleading the health officials to conduct a medical camp to prevent the situation from turning worsening.
