Farmers Voluntarily Pool 22.68 Acres For Amaravati
Farmers and landowners from Harischandrapuram have voluntarily pooled 22.68 acres with APCRDA for the second phase of Amaravati’s land pooling.
Farmers and landowners from Harischandrapuram village have voluntarily handed over 22.68 acres to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) as part of the second phase of land pooling for Amaravati.
On Tuesday, Hyderabad-based landowners G. Harish and G. Lakshmi Soujanya submitted consent documents to APCRDA officials for 5.55 acres. Harish contributed 4.11 acres and Lakshmi Soujanya 1.44 acres. The agreements were handed over to OSD K. Swarna Mary at the local unit office.
In a parallel development, family members of Damineneni Srinivas came forward to pool 17.13 acres. Srinivas contributed 9.74 acres, while Damineneni Venkumamba offered 7.39 acres. The consent papers were handed over to Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja at the APCRDA headquarters in Rayapudi. Special Deputy Collector R. Chandramuni was present.
The two families expressed happiness at contributing to Amaravati’s development and urged villagers to cooperate with APCRDA officials in the ongoing land pooling process. They said contributing land was a matter of pride and a step towards building a world-class capital for Andhra Pradesh.
