Every Young Citizen To Be a Partner In Nation-Building: Satya

Minister urges youth to lead nation-building towards Viksit Bharat 2047

VIJAYAWADA: Emphasising the goal of achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047, minister for medical and health Satya Kumar Yadav called upon every young citizen to be an active partner in nation-building, saying India’s future rests on the energy, discipline and innovation of its youth.

Addressing participants after inaugurating a 5-km youth marathon organised by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the minister said such events promote physical fitness, discipline and patriotism among young people.
Satya Kumar began the programme by paying floral tributes at the Swami Vivekananda statue near Raghavayya Park and then flagged off the marathon. He also jogged alongside the runners, encouraging them and adding to the enthusiasm of the event, which drew attention across Vijayawada’s roads.
Later, he presented prizes to the first, second and third place winners and congratulated them for their spirited participation. Referring to India’s demographic strength, he said nearly 65 per cent of the population is below 35 years of age, echoing Vivekananda’s call for strong and determined youth.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives such as Make in India and Startup India had led to around 1.5 lakh start-ups and 25–30 unicorns, besides major technological achievements.
IPL cricketer Kalyan Krishna Doddapaneni and several BJP and Morcha leaders were present.
