Ensure smooth Brahmotsavams at Srisailam: Ministers
As Srisailam is located in the Nallamala forest area, officials were instructed to provide adequate drinking water, toilets and other basic facilities.

Kurnool: Ministers on Monday reviewed the arrangements for the Brahmotsavams to be held at Srisailam on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri i.e. on February 15. With lakhs of devotees expected to visit the Shaiva temple, the focus was on traffic management, pilgrim amenities and law and order.
Endowments minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, R&B minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy, home minister Vangalapudi Anitha, endowments commissioner Ramachandra Mohan and senior officials attended the review. The ministers directed officials to ensure that the Brahmotsavams would be conducted in a grand manner and that devotees face no inconvenience.
As Srisailam is located in the Nallamala forest area, officials were instructed to provide adequate drinking water, toilets and other basic facilities. The ministers suggested that Markapuram and Nandyal districts jointly coordinate the arrangements.
Earlier, ministers Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and BC Janardhan Reddy offered prayers at the temple and received Vedic blessings from priests.
