KAKINADA: A church pastor in Kamavarapukota mandal of Eluru district allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl repeatedly. According to Tadikalapudi police, a family of daily wage labourers regularly visited the church for prayers. The pastor, 42-year-old Rambabu, repeatedly engaged in six with the girl. When the girl missed her menstrual period, the pastor forced her to consume a high dose of contraceptive pills. Suffering from severe bleeding, the girl finally confided in her mother about the sexual liaison.
As the girl's condition became critical, she was rushed to a hospital in Eluru. Tadikalapudi sub-inspector Valli Padma said a case has been registered and the accused is absconding.
