Eluru: IT Employees Among Passengers, One Dead, 17 Injured In Bus-Lorry Collision

Eluru: One person was killed and 17 others were injured after a private travels bus collided with a stationary lorry on the Greenfield Highway near Yandapalli in Chintalapudi mandal in the early hours of Saturday.
The accident took place when the bus reportedly rammed into the parked lorry. The injured were shifted to a Chintalapudi Government hospital for treatment. The bus cleaner died on the spot. The bus was en route from Hyderabad to Vizianagaram. According to the reports, 5 others were shifted to the Sathupalli Government hospital. Most of the passengers are IT employees travelling to their native places for the long weekend and Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Police reached the spot and took up an investigation into the incident.
